In July the VE family members from out east and out west travelled to this area and we packed as much fun as we could into a week that became known as the
“VE Family Vacation Extravaganza”
We spent a couple of days in one of the big cabins by beautiful Lake Pahoja…

One evening the boys caught the biggest bull frog any of us had ever seen!
It was quite something!
We spent a day celebrating a bunch of family birthdays… complete with a giant bouncy house, lawn games, & lots of good food! What fun!

The next day was the annual Doon Days celebration…
Ryan & Luke walked in the parade with the Hegg crew & enjoyed handing out treats, especially to their cousins!

Over the course of the week, Leah & Jenna drew and painted this bulletin board in Grandma’s classroom. (Shhh…. don’t tell her students!)
