Jenna's Pipe Organ Encounter

Jenna recently attended a Pipe Organ Encounter at Dordt College. 

It was a week-long hands-on experience with pipe organs,

including lessons, recitals, field trips and more.

Here is Jenna with her organ instructor, Lois, and her student partner, Isabel.

 The Pipe Organ Encounter was featured in both the Sioux City Journal and the Sioux Center News.

At the end of the week, students were given the opportunity to perform in a recital on Dordt's impressive Casavant Pipe Organ. Jenna played "All' Offertorio" by Domenico Zipoli, and was presented with a certificate of achievement after the recital.

She had a great week and learned a lot about playing the pipe organ!
