Just catching up on some photos from Christmas break.
We had a busy, blessed time with lots of family staying here over the holidays!
Ryan couldn’t wait to take off in his cozy coupe…
Dad & Grandpa couldn’t get it put together fast enough!

Kara, Lydia, & Jenna heading back up the hill
Sometimes Kara can talk her Daddy into carrying her up the hill ; )
Here are a few quick sledding clips:
Ryan likes to play in here even when it’s cold & snowy

Luke & Caleb having fun in the bubble
Luke was nose-to-nose with this lizard for a long time!

Luke worked hard at getting those candy canes just right
Little chilly here in South Dakota today. The temp got all the way up to -8, which was actually a few degrees warmer than they predicted. It sounds like many of our friends and family are experiencing similar frigid temps and snowy conditions.
I’ve wanted to try this for a long time, and today was the perfect day for it…
School was cancelled due to the extreme cold, so the kids and I had a game-playing, icy suncatcher-making, chocolate-covered pretzel-dipping, craft-creating, book-reading,
stay-where-it’s-cozy-and-warm kind of a day.
*Side note here… I attempted this picture 3 times. Kara’s eyes were closed on the 1st one, Evan’s were closed on the 2nd, and Luke made sure his were open for this one! : )
Stay warm and safe out there!
He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes.
He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?
